Best practice that i have found to OCD is meditation and introspection, reading and learning about non dualism, practising it and taking ssris when it becomes extreme but never give up doing what you love in life is the best way out of this mind prison.

I do not like them not educating the children an at 8 not able to spell or write your own name is just wrong that that has not been taught to the child now if there were reason child has like learning disabilities or something thats different but to just allow child to do whatever wherever is really wrong thats like child abuse fr its wrong an if your not getting child vaccinated or things needed to be healthy an safe an want to travel to other countries omg how out of your mind is that lord have mercy i pray those children do not get sick or end up in a bad way and illiterate and ending up following the wrong path or end up in trouble of some kind because they have no education or the social skills to work an end up doing the wrong things for income god be with them yes i can see the love there children completely an seem very close god be with them im praying hopefully they can read an write by the time they will have to go out in the world or it will be bad

I feel like there’s some hypocrisy when the kids wanna make their own choice to go to school the Dad is against that. And the other family wants no rules but when the baby picked up the knife the mom took away proving you have to teach your kids rules. These kids are “happy” now because they live at home they in their comfort zone in safe space with ppl who accept them but in the real world is really tough even with learning rules. Some of these families sound more like a cult. There was a other family doing this and the dad just sounded lazy is all

Maybe we can learn from kids with selective mutism, it’s called silence. I think most people are afraid to sit in silence-because they aren’t in control of their thoughts. Not to say that would be frustrating for parents, however, our expectations for others comes in to play here too.

Good lord, some of these comments are horrendous. Would I ever do what they do? Never. But all the vitriol in the comments towards these parents is crazy. I gasped at the stillborn comment. The reporter on the vaccines issue asking if she is deluded says a lot about her. She pointed out valid points on why she has not vaxxed her kids. Yet the reporter did not acknowledge it and was not interested in learning more about her perspective. The reporter comes off as a narrow-minded conformist who picks on people who can think differently. Nobody agrees with everything other people do, so instead of putting people down why don't you try and learn other peoples viewpoints. This doesnt mean you have to agree but you can atleast show understanding.

That is so interesting. In my country it is obligatory to finish 8 grades of elementary school. If you wanted to homeschool you would have to be really good at that so then government doesn't take your kids from you. Not much people are homeschooling, mostly parents of kids that are following a professional sports or acting path, we have a system of exams kids take every semester.
